The Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund is dedicated to supporting talented students and, in cooperation with the university, bringing big ideas to life to help TalTech grow the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
The Fund’s goal is to encourage learning, research, and entrepreneurship – to achieve this, we award scholarships, support student projects, and help ensure that great ideas don’t get left behind due to lack of funding. Alongside us, around a hundred companies and hundreds of alumni contribute to TalTech’s development, united by their commitment to Estonia’s future.
Mission: Supporting Education
The mission of the Development Fund is to support TalTech students and researchers in order to advance Estonia’s development and strengthen engineering-based higher education. The Fund builds a bridge between the university, students, and the business sector.
Promoting a culture of donating
The Development Fund is a member of the Estonian NGO network Good Citizen. Its goal is to promote a culture of giving in Estonia, where supporting higher education, the university, and its students through donations is a natural and valued part of contributing to society.
Supporting a larger number of students
Currently, scholarships awarded through the Development Fund reach 3% of TalTech students studying full-time. The goal is to increase this to 10% in the coming years in order to significantly expand the scope and impact of educational support on the overall development of the university.
