Support the education of Ukrainian students at TalTech!
- Bachelor’s and Master’s students studying at the Technical University with Ukrainian citizenship can apply for the scholarship.
- The scholarship of up to 1000 euros will be awarded in the fall of 2023.
- The number of scholarships depends on the total volume of donations.

Choose donation amount
“Every student deserves the opportunity to learn,” says Tallinn University of Technology rector Tiit Land. “Our goal is to enable young people of Ukraine to start or continue their studies here. For this, they need a monthly scholarship that would cover their daily living expenses.”

We have an ambitious goal to shape the mobility of the future, and we can only do it together with talents who want to contribute their knowledge and skills to the achievement of this goal,“ says the CEO of CARIAD Estonia Nicolas Derbin.

Listed grants apply to all current and new students with Ukrainian citizenship:
- tuition fee exemption (English language programs are subject to a fee).
- foreign students who are war refugees are paid a subsidy of 500 euros each semester until the end of the nominal period of study.
- living in a dormitory is supported with 70 euros per month.
At the beginning of 2023, the TalTech library organized a charity book fair, where 800 euros from book sales were donated to the TalTech Ukrainian Student Fund. Both companies and individuals can make donations to the fun.
“Everything is much more expensive in Estonia than in Ukraine. It has been difficult to adapt to it. For example, food, medicine and necessities for studies,” Anna, TalTech MSc Cyber Security student.
2022. aasta märtsis asutati SA Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli Arengufondi juurde TalTech Ukraina tudengite fond, et vahenda toetusi Ukraina kodakondsusega üliõpilaste õpingute toetamiseks Tallinna Tehnikaülikoolis.
In March 2022, the TalTech Ukrainian Student Fund was established at the SA Tallinn University of Technology Development Fund to mediate grants to support the studies of students with Ukrainian citizenship at Tallinn University of Technology. In the past calendar year, more than 20,000 euros were donated to support 36 students of Ukraine with scholarships. Every contribution counts, so that more Ukrainian students with sterling results and great potential can continue their education at TalTech.
