The science club is a platform where young people can execute their innovative ideas in a safe environment under the guidance of mentors. We increase young people’s interest in science and technology and develop them to stand out both in the market and in business. We conduct workshops in science and engineering.
At the moment, scooters, boats and yachts are mostly used as recreational watercraft. This is not very environmentally friendly, as the noise, pollution and waves generated by these fossil fuel powered machines disrupt the entire surrounding ecosystem.
The Science Club helps develop Estonia’s first eFoil, which popularizes an environmentally sustainable way of life, blows new winds into the surfing landscape and gives water enthusiasts a new alternative for fun. Such a solution does not create noise, waves or pollute nature.
In order for Estonia’s first foil competition to be safe and fun, with this project we are raising funds specifically for safety equipment and organization costs.
Event costs:
- Safety equipment, including buoys, impact vests, flags and other safety equipment.
- Organization costs: transport, prizes, merch, equipment rental.
We also want to offer our supporters a foiling experience, i.e. we have also set up 2 thresholds:
- With over a 100€ donation:
The opportunity to come to Noblessner at the Wambola surf center and test riding Ray’s foil. It offers a unique experience and the opportunity to discover the revolutionary performance of the device.
- With over a 50€ annetusega:
Participation in a surfing day, which often takes place in different locations such as Wambola surf center, Männiku Wakepark, Rummu Karjäär and Tartu Emajõgi. At this event, participants can enjoy sauna pleasures and try various water sports. It offers a fun and memorable day out with other enthusiastic sports fans. These benefits give supporters the opportunity to enjoy unique experiences, test new technology and participate in fun events in various water areas. In addition, the donations help to organize a foil competition at the Student Summer Games and to purchase the necessary safety equipment that ensures the safety of the participants.
We are grateful for every donation and see you at the Student Summer Games!
